About Me

Hi! My name is Joe Clark. I’m a software developer in Seattle. I’ve been developing software for over 20 years. I speak multiple languages, including: Java, .NET, C#, PHP, Perl, VB, Classic ASP and 4D. I am also well-versed in SQL Server and MySQL. My work has been in multiple industries, including exporting, health care, and most recently, email services.

My most recent explorations include teaching myself Python, Ruby on Rails and Objective-C, along with learning about NoSQL databases, including HBase and CouchDB. In my current job, I work with very large databases, some with tables with billions of rows. I get challenged every day, not only in implementing custom solutions, but challenged to keep massive amounts of data flowing at optimal rates.
